Slow Down; Move Over

Knob Hill Towing is a proud supporter of the Slow Down; Move Over movement. This national movement is committed to protecting the safety of tow truck and first responders across the country. Every sixth day, a tow truck driver is killed on the job. Many are struck by oncoming vehicles, while others are run over by distracted drivers. Because of this, there is an urgent need for better roadside safety.

The Slow Down; Move Over law and movement was created to accomplish exactly that. The law was passed to protect emergency services, towers, and maintenance personnel, and it requires that drivers slow down and move over when approaching roadside professionals.

Here at Knob Hill Towing, we’re on a mission to raise awareness for the Slow Down; Move Over law and movement. To do this, we’ve joined forces with Colorado State Patrol to further empower the Slow Down; Move Over movement, and the industry was given an official proclamation by Governor Jared Polis to promote the movement.
